The rise of the crafting influencer and who we love to follow

Move over fashion and beauty bloggers, it's all about the crafting influencer. Here are some we love to follow and the three ladies leading the way

The lockdown in March forced us to spend time in our homes.

Pre-coronavirus, being 'at home' was made up of a small number of hours in the evening and on weekends. Before this, home decor and DIY hacks were at the bottom of our to-do lists. However, the forced confinement had us staring at the four walls. Not only do we live at home now, but we also work. With so much time spent in our kitchens and living rooms, we are thinking about how we can survive at home long-term.

With this new passion for home life, many of us are turning to the DIY and home gurus of Instagram for home hacks and interior ideas.

And the stats show it.

Encouraged by their work and creativity, the experts at DIYS.com delved into what the top crafting influencers could potentially earn per Instagram post.

And here are some of their key findings.

Instagram stars

Earning the most is TV personality Stacey Solomon. The mother of three has amassed over 3.7 million followers on Instagram and estimated figures show she could make approx €13,021 per sponsored post. Her 'tap to tidy' success and her recent hack on organising homework to help parents and kids going back to school (which made headlines) has her leading the pack.
