This quirky jewellery exhibition is not to be missed

Don't be fooled by the title ''A Little Nonsense’’ this beautifully quirky jewellery exhibition is far from that. The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon, ‘’A little Nonsense’’ is a collaborative exhibition showcasing the creative genius of 15 of  Irelands leading contemporary jewellery makers.

What makes this jewellery exhibition unique? Each piece has a common theme, ''A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men’’, the Roald Dahl quote from childhood favourite Charlie And The Chocolate Factory. With each goldsmith interpreting the quote in a different, equally imaginative way every piece is extraordinarily unique created using a diverse range of materials from precious metals and gemstones to recycled materials.

The fiercely imaginative creations encompass everything the quote reflects; Mirjam Schiller’s creations include a little gumption flying machine brooch, Sinead Crooke gives the humble milk bottle an artistic transformation, and Eva Dorney makes use of lego and pearls, to mention a few.
