New details surface about Princess Beatrice’s upcoming wedding

The Queen’s granddaughter, Princess Beatrice, is set to marry her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in a spring wedding, according to reports.

The princess will have a spring wedding, according to People, with numerous reports suggesting that the royal wedding will take place on May 29th this year. Buckingham Palace is expected to confirm this in the coming days.

May is a popular time for royals to get married, with both the Cambridges and Sussexes choosing the month to host their respective nuptials.

Although the location of the ceremony has not yet been disclosed, Beatrice is expected to host the reception at Buckingham Palace as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did in 2011.

Unlike other royal weddings, including her sister Eugenie’s in 2018, Beatrice’s nuptials will apparently not be broadcast on television amid controversy surrounding her father, Prince Andrew, and his relationship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. He was asked to step down from his royal duties as a result of the backlash.

The couple announced their engagement in September last year after a year of dating, saying:

“We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can’t wait to be married.

“We share so many similar interests and values,” they added, “and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness.”

Mozzi is a businessman in the property development industry. Princess Beatrice split with her former partner Dave Clark in 2016 after a decade of dating.
