Make Like Blair Waldorf

Make Like Blair Waldorf

Uber is the hot stateside start-up that has been making waves the last two years and now we’re excited to say they’re coming to Eire. Basically Hailo but with luxury town cars instead of taxis, Uber had an under-the-radar launch some weeks ago in Dublin, with Leinster’s Cian Healy catching the first ride at Clontarf Rugby Club.

The Uber app is available to download and also takes payment via your smartphone. You don’t pay the driver at the end of the journey, which adds to the town car experience darling, and get your email receipt within minutes. Also with promo code ?UberDublin? you get €20 off your first ride!

Uber is still in testing mode so the city isn’t awash yet with Gossip Girl-esque vehicles, but for the time being promotional pricing is in place – 20% off standard prices – so you’ve no excuse really not to indulge as we leave miserable January behind. Keep up to speed with Uber Dublin here.
