Kate’s Wedding Video

Brian and Kate from Big Day Films

I love this. It’s like reliving the joy of that day, all over again – only I get to see the parts that I missed, first time round, due to being swept up in the moment or the inability to be everywhere at once. Just as when I first saw the wedding photos taken by White Tea, when I first watched this video by Big Day Films, I had a stupid little smiley-faced sob. The ring warming (where everyone in the congregation held our rings, wishing their wish for us, as they did), our threeway hand-fasting and then Teddy snuggling into my neck at the end of the ceremony – all of these are moments that will ive in my mind anyway, but I’m very glad the memories have been downloaded, too. As I’ve always said, your wedding doesn’t have to be the trendiest, the most lavish, the most original (none of which mine was), but it does have to be the most wonderful, to you (which mine certainly was) and having this, my very own personal feature film, is worth its weight in wedding cake.
