Ikea’s latest collection is full of summery, tactile textures and sea-inspired shades

We love having natural materials in our homes. Not only have they been shown to calm us and make us feel grounded, they also provide an effortless vibe. Ikea‘s latest collection, Tänkvärd, takes sustainable, natural materials such as rattan, linen, cotton and sea grass, and fuses Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics to create items for your home that are fresh and calm.

Designer Akanksha Deo explains that “This collection is all about self-care: embracing what is calming, pleasing, relaxing. It’s about going back to basic human needs,” and we can just imagine these pieces slotting easily into our homes, perfect for a laid-back summer feel.
