Early Morning Blow-Drys: Our Top 9 That Open Before 9am

Forget a morning swim, there’s no better way to blow off the cobwebs than with a red-eye blow-dry appointment!

Whether you have an early morning interview, or you just can’t get away at lunch, whatever the reason (and there doesn’t need to be a reason, by the way), here are the Dublin salons where you can get sunrise blow-drys before 9am. You’ll be suited, booted and well-coiffed before you have your first coffee.

1. BLOW

(Opens 6.30am Mon – Fri, 8.30am on Saturday, 9.30am on Sunday)

Leeson St, Richmond St, InterContinental Hotel (Ballsbridge), Richmond St

Early morning appointments, seven days a week, at three prime locations in Dublin City.

2. Roller Blow Bar

(Mon-Fri opens 7am)

23 Forbes Street, Hanover Quay, Dublin 2

Co-founded by self-confessed blow dry addicts (Orna Holland and Sonia Flynn) who have nailed the Blow Dry Bar experience.

3. Dry & Fly Blow Dry Beauty Bar

(Mon-Fri opens 7am)

16 Merrion Row, Dublin 2

Six signature blow-drys and six up-dos to choose from, and prices starting from €18? You’d be mad not to.

4. Hot Air Blowdry Bar

(Mon-Fri opens 7am)

Mespil Road and Ranelagh village

Specialising only in exceptional blow-drys – no colours or cuts, just stunning styles in a flash.

5. Brown Thomas Beauty Lounge

(Mon-Fri opens 7am, Sat opens 8am)

Clarendon Street

A one-stop shop for not just blow-drys, but all your other beauty needs too (incl. nails, hair, brows) all within sumptuous surroundings.

6. Kazumi

(Tues-Fri opens 8am)

36 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2

A personal favourite of IMAGE Editor, Rosie McMeel, the team here are dedicated to achieving excellence in the technical aspects of their craft

7. Wilde

(Mon-Sat opens 8am) *Also open Sunday!

Donnybrook village, Dublin 4

Thanks to its top quality service and calming atmosphere, Wilde has a loyal, returning client base who can’t stop coming back for more.

8. Di Milo

(Mon-Sat opens 7am)

25 Donnybrook Road, Dublin 4

Another Donnybrook hair salon that’s earned a good reputation over the last number of years, mark our words – a blowdry at Di Milo is an experience to be savoured.

9. Peter Mark

Merrion Shopping Centre (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat opens 8am)

Stephens Green (Mon & Wed opens 8am)

An old reliable, their city centre locations make them a handy option for one and all Dublin city office workers.
