Who doesn’t love a good romance every now and then? From grabbing the tissues and settling in for a cry in front of the telly, or curling up with a book that tugs at the heartstrings, we all love to feel the love. And Ireland’s own Cecelia Ahern is an expert at spreading the grá.

Her books, including fan-favourite PS, I Love You, are much-loved all around the world for being the perfect blend of love, loss and humour — and now, she’s back with a new release that we can’t wait to sink our teeth into.

Ahern’s new novel Postscript is the sequel to PS, I Love You, and catches up with Holly Kennedy seven years after her husband’s death. She’s proud of how far she’s come to forge a new life after loss, but when a group of people inspired by Gerry’s letters, called the PS, I Love You club, approaches her for help, she finds herself drawn back into the world she worked so hard to leave behind.

Excited already? Us too. That’s why we’re so delighted to host an exclusive event with Cecelia herself to celebrate the launch of her new release.

On Saturday, September 21, IMAGE presents a morning with Cecelia Ahern, brought to you by An Post, sponsor of the Irish Book Awards, in the beautiful surroundings of the Stella Theatre in Rathmines for a special morning screening of P.S. I Love You.

The screening will be followed by Cecelia Ahern in conversation with IMAGE’s group brand director Rosaleen McMeel discussing Postscript, the much-anticipated sequel.

Find out everything you need to know about the new book, watch one of our favourites romantic flicks and have the ultimate girls’ Saturday out. Pre-signed copies of Postscript will be available for sale at the Stella.

Tickets are €30 and available from the Stella Theatre. So what are you waiting for? Get booking, as they’re moving fast.
