A look inside the new Image Interiors & Living issue

Ireland is full of many interesting and talented creatives that we have had the pleasure of showcasing in our new March/April issue of Image Interiors & Living. From weaving with Newry’s Mourne Textiles to meeting the architectural practices behind a beautifully adapted Georgian building in Dublin, this little island has more to offer than meets the eye. Here's a look at what else is inside...

The Houses

In Scotland, an Irish family have created the perfect highland retreat using natural textures combined with modern shapes and style. It's a fresh take on the Victorian building’s former life as a hotel and boarding house.

In Dublin, we visited a cosy terrace house transformed by two chefs into a warm and restful haven. It's full of interesting finds and plenty of creative décor ideas.

Over in South Africa, we have immersed ourselves in the beautiful greenery of this newly renovated space. Stripped out of a cramped terrace house to create an open and sociable family home, brimming with leafy plants and hues of green.

Emblem Linen

We take a look at a family-run business creating heritage Irish linen in Wexford. Emma Dwyer caught up with Stephen Conway, whose late father Jim set up the business in 1962.

Colour & Paint

They say change is inevitable and we couldn’t agree more, especially as we approach the new spring season. When it comes to choosing different colours and textures, it’s important to decide what works best for you and your home and there is nothing like a fresh coat of paint to revitalise any space. We’ve compiled expert opinions to help guide you on your search for the perfect colour and finish. Also in this month's issue, we welcome Superfolk’s Jo Anne Butler’s first column of her colour observer’s series, in which the artist and architect looks to nature palettes for interior inspiration.
