6 Irish designers selling reusable, fashionable face masks right now

6 Irish designers selling reusable, fashionable face masks right now

Most of these Irish-designed face masks are made of antimicrobial linen and come in a range of styles and colours.

While the prices of medical masks have surged (my local newsstand is selling them at an extortionate €30), designer masks have emerged to service essential workers and the general population as well.

Irish designers are making masks that are effective and stylish. However, smaller operations are selling out quickly, so be sure to grab one before they are all gone.

Irish Linen House16

Handmade from their studio in Dublin Smithfield, Irish Linen House makes masks from 100 per cent sustainable Irish linen.

Their masks come in a variety of colours and are naturally antibacterial and anti allergenic.

We Make Good25

These masks are made by The Textile Studio, a charity that provides jobs and training to refugee women.

For every face mask purchased, one will be donated to someone living in Direct Provision.

Trousseau 8.95

Trousseau’s three-layer masks are a combination of linen, cotton and antimicrobial bamboo, making them super soft and breathable.

They also have children’s masks available for just 3.95.

STABLE of Ireland20

These eco-friendly travel masks are made from linen, come in a range of colours and are machine washable.

Back in stock May 1, they are offering a ‘buy two, get one free’ deal. Just add three masks to your cart and enter the discount code “GYN” during checkout.

Niamh McCabe33

Made with linen, cotton, denim and eco-friendly dyes, 15 per cent of the proceeds from each mask sold will be donated to the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.

Plus, when purchasing these vibrant face masks, customers can customise the pattern and string colours.

John England12

Located in Co Down, these linen comfort masks help catch coughs and sneezes, while reducing hand-to-face contact. They come in nearly every colour you can think of and are machine washable too.
