6 Irish Christmas Cards We’d Love To Send

6 Irish Christmas Cards We’d Love To Send

So it’s November, we can officially say “Christm…..” wait, hear us out! More specifically, we’re going to talk about Christmas cards, which, like the Christmas cake and all the nice wrapping paper, you’ll need to be considering in the next few weeks to have them done and dusted before things get hectic. In fairness, how smug would you feel if yours were the first card through the neighbour’s door?

Every year, we talk about shopping Irish. This means supporting Irish makers (which is also a more sustainable move because they won’t be shipped from across the world). However, sometimes it’s not easy to get an Irish-made gift that fits the exact requirements of the receiver, but what you can do is ensure your Christmas cards are Irish. Here’s a round-up of some of our favourite Irish Christmas cards.

The 12 Days of Christmas (In Irish) by Mireog Design

Stocked all across the country, Mireog’s gorgeous greeting cards are designed in Co. Waterford and printed in Ireland onto FSC-certified paper. We’re particularly partial this pear tree-dawdling partridge.

Works One Day a Year Christmas Card by Lainey K

Christmas Baby Card by Cártaí Rubaí

Okay, so this card is meant to be for a child’s first Christmas but we just love the adorable illustration on the front! These Irish language greeting cards are made in Wicklow and there are plenty of festive options available to choose from. €2.95 each or €8.50 for a pack of 6.

Nativity Cards from SNOW

This pack comes with three different designs depicting the Nativity scene and is laser-cut by the creatives at Dubin’s SNOW. €9.50 for a pack of three.
