40 Questions With Katie Tsouros, Curator

Remember 2012? The year waiting for a’sweet delectable pay cheque became a mild form of torture because of that thing called the downturn in the global economy? For Katie Tsouros, that year?is tattooed on her entrepreneurial biography, marking the establishment of her own business, Artfetch. Artfetch is an online gallery, selling art which Katie has curated at affordable prices. It’s an accessible, easy-to-navigate site bringing contemporary art to the masses. There is no snooty receptionist to ask you are you okay and you can look at the art in your own time without the salesman spiel pushing you towards something you may not love. We love the idea of Artfetch, and we trust the woman whose brain made it happen.?Tsouros followed up her MA in contemporary art in Sotheby’s in London with working stints in a host of renowned galleries before setting up a pop-up gallery in Donnybrook. Her business is growing every year and she’s one of our brightest creative talents. A natural fit for IMAGE’s 40 Under 40.
