The highly anticipated event raises much needed funds for the Marie Keating Foundation so it can continue to raise cancer awareness and provide free cancer services. Ronan Keating and Storm Uechtritz at the 2015 Marks Spencer Ireland Marie Keating Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic

Celebrities from the world of entertainment, sport and media descended on the prestigious K Club golf course in Kildare for the 2015 Marks & Spencer Ireland Marie Keating Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic. Now in its 16th year, the highly anticipated annual event is one of the highlights of the golfing calendar and raises much needed funds for the Marie Keating Foundation so it can continue to raise cancer awareness and provide free cancer services.

The event was hosted by ambassador and patron of the Foundation, Ronan Keating. Over 35 teams participated in the competition and delighted guests got the chance to play golf with an array of high profile celebrities including Hollywood actors Dougray Scott and Stephen Graham, rugby legends Shane Byrne and Mike Tindall, and former footballer Ian Wright.

Following a fantastic day of golf, guests including Zara Phillips, Storm Uechtritz, Keith Duffy and Laurence Kinlan gathered at Legend’s Restaurant for a drinks reception followed by a four-course meal in The Arnold Palmer Room with wine and champagne from M&S. Entertainment was provided by comedian Stan Boardman and singer Cole Page. Brothers Ronan and Gary Keating hosted an auction with items such as golf merchandise signed by Rory McIlroy going under the hammer to raise funds for the worthy cause.
