Take Five: Magazine holders

Take Five: Magazine holders

Still holding on to the last issue of Image Interiors & Living because you can’t get over the converted barn or are you gathering inspiration for your kitchen remodel? Maybe your copies of Easy Food are piling up because there are so many dessert recipes you just have to try. If it’s not magazines, it’s novels or puzzle books or newspapers. We’ve all felt trapped by literary clutter as our weeklies pile up. But, we’ve found a way out. Enter, magazine holders.

Magazine holders are a simple but classy solution. They fit a variety of spaces and cater to an array of aesthetics. We’ve selected a few of our favourites so we can begin putting our rooms in order.

There’s the quick-fix option: magazines can be placed in baskets that slide beneath other furniture and out of sight. The same storage pieces can be left in the open as a neat and functional way to capture that rustic look.

There’s the utility option: desk magazine files and magazine stands for easy access and frequent reading.

And there’s the modern design option: choose a wire wall rack or ladder shelving for the industrial look that’s trending at the moment.

This willow basket is available in a range of colours, so it’s easy to get that rustic look in a number of settings.
