Our favourite bedrooms from the 2018 issues of Image Interiors & Living

I adore my bedroom. I love getting into bed after a long day, snuggling in under a warm duvet and layers of blankets. My bedroom is my hideout. The perfect bedrooms should encourage you to rest and relax. It should be comfortable enough for Saturday morning reading, a room where you can lose yourself for hours. Below are some of the favourite bedrooms that we featured in 2018.

The Victorian oriental wall hanging, bought at an auction, is three pieces of wallpaper hung separately with frames from Ferm Living in this Portobello home in May/June issue. Lucciola pendent lights frame each side of the bed.

Calm, orderly and cosy. The bedlinen reflects the owner’s appreciation for natural fabrics and adds a touch of rustic style, while the wooden floorboards add warmth. The capsule wardrobe is an aspiration of mine, but will never become a reality. Featured in our September/October issue.

This romantic bedroom with the double doors opening onto a view over Paris is what my continental dreams are made of. From our January/February issue.

The Puglia apartment from our May/June issue is wonderfully higgledy-piggledy, with the uneven walls are and the curved ceilings. You can feel the coolness of the apartment protecting you against the summer heat.

A bed made from tiles is not for everyone, but they add a rustic warmth to this bed, covered in layers of comfy throws in romantic colours. From a Roisin Lafferty project in our November/December issue.

I have rounded up the rest of my favourite kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and dining rooms of 2018, have a peek.
