The Aristocats: Homeware accessories for the feline-friendly

Love them or hate them, cats really don’t care either way. Cats are interesting and independent creatures with an enviable amount of attitude and self-confidence. They can also have a very calming presence on the lucky few they choose to bless with their purring presence. They deserve to be adored – and they know it too.

We celebrate them with some fun interiors accessories – we hope they approve of our homage, though they’re probably entirely indifferent to it.

The Book Of The Cat, €16, Anthropologie

The Book of the Cat is a cool and quirky collection of art and illustration by artists from around the world.

Flower cat fine china mug, around €17, Chase and Wonder

Any cat lover would adore this mug with a cat peeking from under its floral crown, with love or hatred in its eyes no one knows.

Barney Pencil Pot, around €22, Graham & Green

You can’t help but smile back at the hand-painted and very noble Barney pencil pot. Though we’re not sure about naming a cat Barney, Earl seems more accurate for this little fella.

Frida Catlo A4 print, around €19, NGNG

A high-quality litho print of an original illustration by cat lady Niaski.

Who’s The Boss, from €27.50, StoryTiles

The humorous art tile of a cat walking a dog will lift any mood (and will have most dog-and-cat owners nodding in recognition).

Featured image: Ikea SKURAR wall decoration, set of 3, around €13 (available from October).
