H&M Home’s autumn collection is an ode to Manhattan loft living

H&M Home’s autumn collection is an ode to Manhattan loft living

With rain forecast this weekend, we’re digging out our toe-covering shoes once again, wondering where we last saw the brolly and considering reintroducing the throw to the couch – and you know what, we’re okay with it. Especially after seeing H&M Home’s new collection for the coming autumn.

Inspired by the architecture and art scene of Manhattan, it’s all about making your home feel like a creative yet calm space. Expect to find demure textures of rough ceramics and mirrored surfaces, bold sculptural statements and geometric patterns backed by strong blocks of colour.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find online and in select H&M stores this autumn.

With a new emphasis on shape and structure, we love how the light refracts through these rippled glass vases.

Mirrored objects are making a return as a subtle, pared-back ode to the ornate 1920’s period.

With grey as a base colour starting to fade as the year goes on, brown and tawny hues have returned, adding a warmth and depth to the space.

With loft vibes dominating the entire collection, we’re particularly taken with this black metal bedside unit. Its simple thin frame means it almost goes unnoticed and could double up easily as a side table or coffee table in a smaller space.

We just love how fun this scholastic black and white bed linen is!
