Home Tour – Jemma Cassidy’s Dublin Abode

Jemma's house is situated on a quiet street in Dublin's Portobello.

Jemma Cassidy, known to her friends as the Human A-Z, is one busy gal. Her boutique wedding brand Hip Hip, launched only last September, is going from strength to strength and has produced a bunch of smooth, photo-ready, memory-filled days. On top of this, she has just moved to Philadelphia with her husband James English of The Gentleman’s Academy (whom we profiled recently) to take up a position as buying manager for the URBN group, home to Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People among others.

Jemma may be busy creating a new loft home across the pond (watch this space, we’ll have exclusive pics to show you soon) but we’re still in love with her funky Dublin abode. The walls brim with bright prints and paintings gifted by friends and parquet floors which walk you from the hallway to a dining table that has seen plenty of socialising and a bright home office with a cork notice board keeping all her inspiration and events in order. Similarly, the kitchen has a chalkboard paint wall for notes, reminders and the creative whims of dinner party guests.
