Dreary weather seems to be dragging on, but we've been looking ahead to warmer and brighter days. From outdoor furniture for summer lounging to road trips made for long days, the May/June issue of Image Interiors & Living is sure to get you excited for summer.
For it, we've been exploring what our northern neighbours have to offer, from incredible homes to exciting creatives, as well as learning how to prep our bedroom for better sleep and beautifying bathrooms.

This jaw-dropping Belfast home has been transformed from its derelict state into a modern family home that still respects the long history of the building. It's no wonder RTÉ named it as the 2019 Home of the Year. Orla Neilgan speaks with the homeowner, who amazingly has no professional experience as an interior designer, about how she pulled it off.
A family of windsurfers have created the ideal base in this Greek island home. Its pared-back interiors let the stunning surroundings shine.
And closer to home, deputy editor Lauren Heskin visits the restful home of Daniel Ulrich, the owner of Galway coffee and design shop Coffeewerk + Press. From custom-designed furniture to clean lines and natural textures, it's such a calming space you would never think sits just minutes away from the noise of the city centre.
We took to the road to meet some of the most exciting makers and creatives working up north, from weavers to designers. Gemma Tipton learns about their work and a shared sense of community in a series of interviews.
