Christmas At Tiger and Ikea

Halloween is finally behind us and you know what that means. Santa’s not far around the corner.

It’s ok! Don’t fret. In our view, the best way not to stress out about Christmas and all that can come with it is to be as organised as possible. Here we take to the shops in advance of the festive rush to see how we can add some magic to our humble abodes this December.

If it’s a Nordic kinda Christmas you’re after, but you can’t quite afford to jet off to a Finnish market, then Tiger and Ikea are the perfect happy medium.

Having fallen in love with their very cute and considered Christmas decorations as we mosied around our nearest Tiger store, we couldn’t not share our favourites with ye loyal readers right here. And the beauty of these festive treats? They won’t set you back more than a few euro each. Thankfully though, we don’t have to compromise on style as what we’ve chosen above will earn you all sorts of compliements as your Christmas guests sip on a glass of Glogg, admiring the pieces that adorn your mantlepiece. Haven’t heard of Glogg? That’s some Scandinavian mulled wine right there.

And this year, Ikea have pulled out all the stops for their Christmas collection. From gorgeous candle holders that you could probably leave on display all year round, to something a little bit different to the standard red bauble for hanging on your tree, we’re very impressed. Once again, nothing you find here’s going to break the bank. Gone are the days where you have to remortgage your house to dress a full tree with decorations that are actually nice. Hurrah!

Have a browse through our gallery of goodies above.
