These two concrete cubes in Kilester house a workspace and living space in two distinct wings. Worth a viewing for the interesting layout and double height bookcases alone. Architect Donal Hickey took every daily aspect into consideration for the design, even the dappling effect created by the sunlight through the trees.

A Victorian redbrick with a twist designed by architect Thomas O’Brien; the extension ?is inspired by the raw quality of the wooden skeleton of a building.

The sunken garden room of a Ranelagh redbrick is based on the golden ratio, a proportion comprising an area of a square plus the area of a rectangle that is half the width of the square, particularly inspiring to 20th?century artists and architects such as Le Corbusier and Dal?.

Victorian Townhouse and Mews Garden Studio
Backing onto the Botanical Gardens, this townhouse and garden studio are models of sustainability. Designed by the resident architect John Feely, this building unites the interior and landscape space beautifully.

This 1950s boutique guesthouse, designed by former resident architect Sam Stephenson is a favourite of John Rocha’s and has a wonderful example of a sunken lounge in the style of Eero Saarinen.
