Critics’ favourite Mister S joins the roster of amazing restaurants open for pick-up and delivery

Critics’ favourite Mister S joins the roster of amazing restaurants open for pick-up and delivery

With culinary click-and-collect culture moving into full swing this week, we’re excited by positive reports on the Mister S offering. The long-time favourite of a number Dublin’s restaurant critics and a loyal following of punters, Mister S offers a charred, smokey food experience for the growing number of folks looking to eat out at home.

Another blip to ping loudly on our hunger radar this week is the meal kit offering from the much-loved, good-value wood-fired grill on Camden Street, Mister S.

The meal kit making the most waves at Mister S is the BoSsam Meal (feeds 4+; €85), pictured above and below, a feast which centres around a 3.5-4kg piece of Andarl Farm pork shoulder, which has been dry-brined with sugar and salt, rubbed with a house blend of spices, and smoked over applewood for 12 hours.

Great for family dinners, Sunday lunches, or just general home feasting, this is a meal kit experience to set taste-buds alight and comes with a tremendous amount of sides. For those looking to collect or have their meal kit delivered, 90 per cent of the work has been done by Mister S chefs, so you just need to heat up a few bits and assemble the goods.

The BoSsam Meal feeds four to eight people – if you are four you’ll have leftovers for the best sandwiches imaginable the following day. The kit is good for three full days after receiving it, so you don’t need to worry about using it the day it arrives.

Order the kit for collection Thursday to Saturday.

Meanwhile, for those who prefer their meal kit delivered, Mister S are delivering to all of Dublin, Greystones, Wicklow Town, Maynooth, Leixlip and Celbridge, bouncing out deliveries every Friday to arrive at drooling punters’ homes between 12pm and 5pm.

Mister S is also offering two other meal kits at €48, both taco-based and, of course, wood-fire grilled: one is centred around a stunning piece of smoked pork, above, the other is lamb shoulder, and both are Delicious (capital D).

Both collection and delivery options are happening through clickandcollection.com, just log on and choose your option, no hassle.

Orders must be made by 4pm on Thursdays. All deliveries will be good to reheat Friday/Saturday or Sunday.
