Weekend street style inspiration – whatever the weather brings

Weekend street style inspiration – whatever the weather brings

Wondering what to wear this weekend? Whatever the weather throws at us, these street style stars offer plenty of inspiration.

Distressed denims and trainers dressed up with a lace T-shirt is perfect for breakfast or lunch meet-ups. The smart top makes the trainers feel less casual, while the lace detailing contrasts nicely with the very distressed looking denims.

There’s something effortlessly chic about this outfit, plus a skirt is a less predictable way to wear denim this summer. Denim is such a great option when the weather can’t make up its mind.

Easy-to-wear monochrome punctuated by a fabulous handbag full of colour and personality will take you anywhere. This blouse looks beautifully lightweight and fluid. Its femininity juxtaposes with the athleisure-style pants.

I have a similar shirt to this, which I bought in Penneys for €9 and I love it. Keep your outfit understated with this simple ensemble, then throw on a fabulous pair of boots to avoid looking generic. Okay, we may not be ready to wear boots again, but chose a piece of footwear that has a point of difference.

This preppy look is feminine without being overly girlish (I love the addition of a gingham handbag). Perfect for day or evening, this is a weekend winner.

A standout skirt translates for day by pairing it with a slouchy sweater. Change it for a silk T-shirt if the heatwave returns.

This is a stunning sundress, and this street style star has gone all out with kooky sunglasses and a fabulous print. There’s nothing generic about her look.

And if your plan this weekend is to relax and watch the the Love Island best bits – don’t be embarrassed, you won’t be alone – then go for something comfy and chic like these fabulous oversized trousers and sweater.
