12 red and pink pieces to show some love to yourself this Valentine’s Day

12 red and pink pieces to show some love to yourself this Valentine’s Day

Love is universal.

It’s the love for your parents, your siblings, your partner, your children, your pets, your Netflix account and for your clothes. Love can be a complicated language but here at IMAGE, we understand the language of the latter. It’s the language of sartorial love.

It’s a bright spark set off by the shop floor, or the click of a mouse that transports you to really chic coats. It’s a love like no other; fleeting, intense, and it makes a significant dent in your bank account.

But, you do it for love. You do it to feel good.

How we dress mirrors the time of year we find ourselves in. We wear layers in winter to shield from the cold, and we wear airy dresses and espadrilles while sipping white wine during warmer months. Sequins define Christmas, while red and pink herald Valentine’s Day – the ultimate celebration of love.

And as Valentine’s Day is just around the corner (as in, tomorrow), we want to show some affection for the colours of love by speaking the language we know best. This language isn’t defined by whether or not you’re single, engaged, married or just not feeling it. This is for every woman – because this language is about showing some love to yourself.

So treat yourself this Valentine’s Day to a fiery red or perfect pink number and speak your own personal language of love.
