Online label Kitri Studio comes to Brown Thomas

Online label Kitri Studio comes to Brown Thomas

Kitri Studio has been on my radar for more than a year now due to its affordable collection of fresh-looking separates and one-pieces. If you’re not familiar with the brand and need a frame of reference, it’s along the lines of Finery London in terms of aesthetic and price. Until this year Finery had been stocked in Brown Thomas, so Kitri Studio will be a welcome addition to the store for those women who miss the accessibility and high-quality finish offered by that other London-based online retailer.

The collection on Kitri’s website is reasonably capsule in size so I imagine the range available in Brown Thomas will be modest. One of the strongest pieces in my mind is this blue check wrap dress. Layered over a white polo-neck it’s ideal for these transitional months. The frill sleeves are feminine but not fussy, and the asymmetric hem lends this wrap dress a more directional edge.

Less fashion forward, but still a sweet dress with a fresh print, this cherry motif pleated dress is an easy-to-wear option come spring, in a shade of green that is fresh and flattering.

The label is only two years old, founded by Haeni Kim, and borne out of the frustration of trying to find “dream pieces” on the high street. As well as beautiful dresses, Kitri does a strong line in utilitarian wear like boilersuits, jumpsuits, sweatshirts and athleisure-inspired trousers.

It’s a contemporary label with the kind of pieces that can take you anywhere. The utility satin trousers, for instance, will do double duty for the office and a dinner date with a quick switch of your footwear. Available today in Brown Thomas, and from kitristudio.eu, it’s worth checking out.
