Irish Fashion Advocate Phoebe Webb On Her Signature Party Look

Irish Fashion Advocate Phoebe Webb On Her Signature Party Look

Phoebe Webb, founder of fashionofireland.ie talks about her favourite party dress and Irish designers of the moment.

What drew you to this Alexander Wang dress? It was the first item I saw when I walked into the store. It’s the perfect shade of red for Christmas, and it needs very little added to it.

How do you like to dress day-to-day? Minimal – classic pieces are always the best, you’ll usually find me wearing a knit jumper by Irish designer Janet Byrne, a pair of skinny jeans from Rant & Rave, and ankle boots from CoXLab. My wardrobe is filled with every shade of black, navy, grey and white. The Breton stripe is my go-to print.

What labels do you rely on? We have some great bands in Ireland, such as Emma Manley, Theo + George and Orla Langan. I also love Victoria Beckham, Eileen Fisher and Reformation. I always try to shop for ethical and sustainable fashion.

Do you enjoy accessorising? I think beautiful jewellery speaks volumes, and a clutch bag is the cherry on top. At the moment, I’m using my leather clutch from The Kindle Leather Company.

What’s your signature party look? A dress and heels – anything else is too much fuss. Squirrel Versus Magpie makes gorgeous silk dresses, perfect for a party, then I add pieces from ISLE Jewellery or Edge Only.

If you could receive one fashion gift for Christmas, what would it be? something from Emma Manley’s new collection. The tailoring., touches of leather and embellishment are fabulous.
