She also reflected about her aunt, adding that her family wanted to do all they could to keep her spirit alive, “When you lose someone you love very, very much, you spend a lot of time trying to think about how to keep their spirit alive… There is so much of her left behind and this was an opportunity for us to celebrate her life and her legacy.”

"I don’t believe the search for ways to commemorate, to honour and to keep someone you love’s memory alive ever ends, but I’m so grateful for this collaboration with Francis Valentine. Spring was Katy’s favourite season. This collection is a celebration of her life, her spirit, her legacy and her love of a good colour pop (or six). She was a force of nature and a heck of a good time."
