It’s Prince George’s Birthday!

Prince George is one tomorrow! The young royal and cutest dungaree wearer is celebrating his first birthday and party details have been shared. None of us are invited but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be gathering with the rest of the Windsors in Balmoral House in Scotland for a no-fuss celebration. After spending the last year traveling to the other side of the world and capturing hearts everywhere it’s about time the little dote had a party. In anticipation of the media circus that surrounds everything George does – will we ever forget that New Zealand playdate? – the family have released an informal portrait of the prince in an adorable blue outfit. Yes, that is unaided confident toddler stomping.

The Middleton’s have already had a party for George this weekend in Bucklebury, Berkshire and considering their party planning expertise (they own an events company called?Party Pieces) you can be sure it was immaculate. Grandmother Carole chose a Peter Rabbit theme for the day with the Daily Mail claiming ?vol au vents in the shape of rabbits? were served.

Whether or not Pippa took charge with some party tips from her book?Celebration remains to be seen. Kate’s brother James was probably in charge of the cake considering he’s been on the publicity trail for his baking company for some time. One of the USPs for Nice Cakes is that you can upload photos and have them printed out in edible form on cupcakes. We vote for this cutie to make the cake cut.
