Hat Heroine: Millie Mackintosh

By Bill O'Sullivan
17th Oct 2014
Hat Heroine: Millie Mackintosh

Okay, we’ve accepted it, summer is well and truly over. We’ve picked out our favourite boots and coats for the coming months but there’s one vital accessory missing, the perfect hat. Often overlooked when it comes to getting ready, hats are both gorgeous and practical, and they hide a bad hair day better than Batiste.

For inspiration, we’re looking to Chelsea style maven Millie Mackintosh, a lady who is rarely seen without some fierce, felt headgear.

The Wide Brimmed Camel Hat – The ideal transitional hat, wear with a leather jacket and fur gilet – la Millie.

ASOS €28.57

Beautiful Burgundy – this is the perfect colour for autumn/winter. Think of it as a neutral shade and it’ll never leave your head.

Topshop €36.00

Classic Black Fedora – A staple in every hat lovers wardrobe, the classic black fedora looks effortless, day or night.

Miss Selfridge €32.00
