From bold florals and cutesy gingham to polka dots: does anyone else have summer prints fatigue?

Distinctive patterns have become the signature of several popular brands and the result is a sea of women wearing dresses in summer prints. Is anyone else feeling fatigued by these?

I'm over Rixo, although I only own a single piece from the brand. I can't look at Ganni anymore, because its grey and yellow floral wrap dress is so familiar to my eye (see above) and as for its multi-coloured striped knit...how many appearances has that made on your Instagram feed so far this year? And as for the current obsession with polka dots...enough already. Is anyone else utterly fatigued by this summer's obsession with prints? It's all anyone is wearing.

I don't remember print dresses ever being so dominant in Dublin in summer time. Where is all the safari chic? Where are the sorbet shades and effortless white linens women used to wear this time of year. We're mid-way through summer and we've already reached peak print.

I'm craving the sight of a good colour-block dress and I yearn to see no-nonsense neutrals again. If you're as jaded as I am with summer prints, take a look at these 12 dresses. They're chic, they're pretty, and their print-free. Even better, they're on sale!
