Watch: Premature Twins Holding Hands Goes Viral

An Australian mother’s video of her premature twin babies holding hands has gone viral; it’s super sweet and you can expect to feel ALL of the feelings. Hooked up to tubes and resting on their father’s chest, Kristiana and Kristian remain hand in hand as they fight to beat the odds after being born only 28 weeks into their pregnancy term. As you can see in the multiple videos posted to her page, ‘they just can’t stop holding hands’, with little Kristiana keeping a protective hold over her brother as often as she can.

Anthea Jackson Rushford took to her Facebook page in total disbelief at her tiny babies’ behaviour. She wrote:

“We realise it may be a tad bit disturbing seeing our twins with tubes but they are preemie babies so it is understandable and normal. I’m sharing photos and videos for the simple reason that it gives hope to all parents out there that even they do just fine! I googled like crazy looking for hope when we told we might be [premature]. I would love to see this kind of positivity as a mum that faces the possibility of a premature baby.”

“To all parents that face this, be comforted in knowing that today anything is possible and your babies will be just fine!”

Amazing!!! Needs to go viral!!! our preemie twins Kristiana and Kristian! Born at just 28 weeks and 1 day! Weighed in at under a kilo each! #preemietwins
