This morning we cried on the bus, not because it was Monday, but because this video of 106-year-old Virginia McLaurin visiting the White House and dancing with the Obamas is wonderful, beautiful, all the adjectives. McLaurin was there to celebrate the occasion of Black History Month and the Obamas seemed as excited to her and she was to see them. Tips were shared on how to keep dancing at 106 – “keep moving” – and compliments were traded regarding McLaurin’s manicure.

It’s an emotional video, especially when McLaurin talks about what it means to see a black president in the White House with his black wife.
