The International Harbour Food Festival takes place this?Su, day June 4th, and Monday, June 5th, 2017. Taking place on the East Pier in Dun Laoghaire, the festival will celebrate the Bicentenary of D?n Laoghaire Harbour with food stalls representing countries from around the world, an outdoor marine?art exhibition, historic street theatre performances, plus there will be live entertainment throughout the days. Expect cuisine from?Greece, France, Brazil, USA, Hungary, China, Czech Republic, Nigeria among others; featuring everything from falafel to langos, doughnuts to dumplings and BBQ to popcorn. A popup warehouse market will take place tomorrow, June 4th at New Market?in the heart of Dublin 8. The market will be a gathering of some of the most unique stalls and sellers in Dublin and will include crafts, vintage, vinyl, art, restored furniture, fashion, accessories, and more. Plus live music, kiddies art class, cafe, outdoor stalls and lots more. Market times from 11 – 5.

A live poetry slam will take place at Filmbase in Temple Bar, tomorrow and anyone is welcome to take part.?There will be an open sign up on the night for 8 of the 12 slots. Sign up for poets is at the ticket desk on the night between 6-6.15pm. The first 20 people to sign up get into the show for free. If you’re planning to take part you’re asked to be mindful of a couple of rules: poems must be under 3 minutes and memorised, no props, costumes or backing tracks, poems must be original work of performer, and you will need 2 poems to compete (opening round then final).
