Last night we had a full house at the first Young Businesswomen’s?Forum of 2017 at The Westbury Hotel.

On arrival, attendees mingled and were treated to a?glass of?Veuve Clicquot champagne. As everyone took their seats they discovered gifts & treats galore including delicious?chocolate truffles from Hazel Mountain Chocolate, Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish, Paperblanks 2017 diaries and Percy Pigs from Marks & Spencer.

The evening began with a few opening words from our Editor-In-Chief, Melanie Morris who welcomed our amazing panel of businesswomen; Ruth Monahan, managing director of Appassionata Flowers, blogger, Suzanne Jackson and Kasha Connolly, owner & creative director of Hazel Mountain Chocolate.

First up on the Image YBF couch was Ruth Monahan who had a very busy week in the lead up to valentines and told us that Appassionata had delivered?180 bouquets of flowers around Dublin. Blogger, Suzanne Jackson was next to share her story and spoke about how she developed her brand SoSu by SJ. Creative director and head chocolatier from Hazel Mountain Chocolate, Kasha Connolly was last up to join the ladies and told us how it was love that brought her to the Burren, in Co. Clare. Kasha reminded us that, mistakes will happen and try your best not to beat yourself up about them as no matter you will always end up falling forward!

After a fantastic?night full of candid?chats, great stories and outstanding business tips three very lucky attendees won dinner for two at the Wilde restaurant?at The Westbury Hotel for their creative tweets.
