A recent event at The Medley on Dublin's Fleet Street East brought a taste of Glasgow to Dublin, showcasing the Scottish city and everything it can offer the short stay or weekend visitor wanting to make their #NextStopGlasgow.
Glasgow City Marketing Bureau came over to Dublin 2 and provided a whistle-stop tour of the city, its cultural attractions, retail offer and samples of Glasgow-based products, including Makar gin, Glengoyne whisky, beauty and interiors.
Local media was well represented between leading publications and social influencers who were spoilt with a guest appearance from acclaimed architect and designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh, who, at 148 years old, was looking really rather well, or was that the gin talking?!
Guests including stylist Claudia Gocoul and bloggers Cliona Kelly, Emma Henderson and Lorna Duffy were given a personalised passport to Glasgow, before helping #NextStopGlasgow become one of the highest trending hashtags in the country.
