Play Some Public Piano in Dublin City

Play Some Public Piano in Dublin City

Musicians playing instruments on the street in Begin Again.

Begin Again, the Keira Knightley starring musical dramedy, snared our indie loving hearts earlier this summer and was one of the first things we thought about when we heard about creative agency Making Space’s latest endeavour. In the John Carney directed movie a group of musicians who have fallen on hard times, both emotionally and financially, team up to record an outdoor album, using the backdrop of New York city as their studio. A tiny bit unrealistic, a lot magical.

Making Space meanwhile are presenting a project called ?Making :: Sounds? to the masses passing through Temple Bar where every Saturday between 10am and 5pm, members of the public are invited to play one of two pianos in Cow’s Lane.

Today’s the last Saturday of ?Making :: Sounds? so make Temple Bar centric plans right now. Who knows, you might become a viral sensation?

See?makingspace.ie for more information.
