Michelle Obama And Missy Elliot Join Corden For Carpool Karaoke

The highly anticipated episode aired across The States last night which sees host Corden drive around the gardens of The White House joined by First Lady Michelle Obama, who was her usual humorous and highly intelligent self.

Singing kicked off with Obamas favourite jam ?Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours??by Stevie Wonder, followed by?their own rendition of Beyonc’s ?All The Single Ladies?, before Grammy-award-winning artist and HipHop legend Missy Elliot joined the troupe. Of course, Missy couldn’t pass an opportunity to sing old-school classic ?Get Your Freak On?.

However, singing wasn’t the only agenda on The First Lady’s list, and Obama took the opportunity to share her latest initiative with the world. Titled ?Let Girls Learn?, the endeavours main aim is to make education available to the estimated 62 million girls worldwide who do not have access to education.

Speaking about the project, Obama said she feels that education is the key to social change saying that ‘so much can be corrected in the world if girls were educated and had power over their lives?. Her message was clear and simple: ‘don’t take your education for granted?. Obama will be primarily using Snapchat to spread her message.

Corden doesn’t forget to throw a few cheeky questions to Obama about leaving the White House, and in particular, what she might ?accidentally? forget to take out of her bag on. You just can’t help but smile watching this – happy Thursday!
