Guests to Louise Kennedy's spring/summer fashion show at her atelier were certainly propelled into the season when greeted by hundreds of brightly coloured Gerbera daises arranged into elaborate, opulent displays, and glasses of pink champagne. As always, the collection of brilliantly coloured silk, lace, fluid jersey, softly woven tweeds and decoratively beaded pieces drew gasps of delight from the 100-or-so invited guests including the designer's bestie Catherine Burke-Kennedy (and her mum) as well as RTE presenter Claire Byrne. With live music by guitarist Drazen Derek and singing by the Babylon Sisters, their light, beautiful voices brought even more summer sunshine indoors. After the fashion show, many ladies headed straight upstairs to Louise's salon to make claim to favourites, while others chatted about what they'll return for.
To see the whole collection, cick here.
