Last night we had a full house at our May Young Businesswomen’s?Forum- ‘Meet The Trailblazers’ at The Westbury Hotel.

On arrival, attendees mingled while sipping on a?glass of?Veuve Clicquot Champagne in the luxurious surroundings of our?five-star venue. As everyone took their seats they discovered gifts & treats galore including Cocoa Brown Tough Stuff Body Scrub, two L.O.V cosmetics products including a 3in1 Prime & Fix Spray and a gorgeous LIPaffair Lipstick, Purdey’s multi-vitamin fruit drink, a My Shining Armour notebook AND a delicious chocolate treat from GALAXY.

The evening began with a warm welcome from our Editor-In-Chief, Melanie Morris who introduced our amazing panel of businesswomen; Siobhan Byrne, Co-Founder of BodyByrne Fitness, CEO of iZest Marketing, Jennifer Taaffe and Irish Designer Joanne Hynes.

First up to chat to Melanie was Siobhan Byrne, she talked to us about her brave jump into the world of personal training and the bumps she encountered along the road. Business savvy Jenny Taaffe shared with us her incredible journey in creating and developing a successful business, as well as sharing some insightful business tips and giving us the heads up on her new project Midnight, coming up in the next few weeks. Last but certainly not least, Joanne Hynes inspired us by chatting about her passion for design and creativity. She also discussed her collaboration with Dunnes Stores and her High Summer Collection which goes on sale tomorrow, May 12 at 9.30am. A valuable insight was taken away after each speaker, from learning to see through those pesky Instagram filters, to saying yes to every opportunity that comes knocking on our’doors.

After a fantastic?night full of honest conversation, great stories and outstanding business tips, three very lucky attendees won dinner for two with cocktails at the Wilde restaurant?at The Westbury Hotel for their creative tweets.
