Ennio Morricone

By Bill O'Sullivan

Ennio Morricone

Ennio Morricone may be 84 but it certainly hasn’t stopped him yet. The hype has been going on since April, when it was announced that the legendary composer (the most prolific film composer in the history of cinema) would be performing his first ever concert in Ireland at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. He will be conducting the 97 piece orchestra, Roma Sinfonietta along with a 100 person strong choir. The concert will be even further enhanced by the presence of an Italian-themed menu presented by the resident Itsa? chefs at Kilmainham. An intoxicating way to bring these last incredible weeks to an end, lulled away by Italian music and food. Unmissable.
