Clodagh's Kitchen Arnotts

  • by IMAGE

Arnotts has long been known as the one-stop-shop for top-notch kitchen kit and now they have a dining offering that holds just as much appeal for the confirmed foodie. With well-known Irish chef, Clodagh McKenna at the helm they have opened Homemade by Clodagh caf? and food court downstairs and the slightly more formal Clodagh's Kitchen restaurant upstairs. Clodagh trained and taught at The Ballymaloe Cookery School and that homely Irish country cooking influence permeates everything here. The menu in the Kitchen changes with the seasons, offering a selection of omelettes, salads, pastas, fish dishes and their speciality ?bites?. We devoured some perfect potted shrimp, Bavette steak from O'Coileain butchers and a slice of moist and zesty carrot cake and felt wonderfully at home in Clodagh's kitchen. Keep an eye out, a second Clodagh's Kitchen is due to open in Blackrock soon?CLODAGHS_KITCHEN_PAGE_2

There's an almost motherly quality to the service here with staff busying about in their ?Clodagh? aprons.

What to drink

The homemade elderberry pink lemonade is a winner as is locally sourced Tipperary apple juice.
