The Shelbourne Hotel provided a glitzy backdrop to the second annual Oireachtas charity fashion show, in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association. A party of 350 guests gathered in the hotel for an evening of fashion and friendly banter, as members of the Oireachtas joined Ireland’s top models and sporting stars on the catwalk, all for a worthy cause. RT’s Nuala Carey, rugby analyst Brent Pope, and GAA all-star Paul Galvin joined former Miss World Rosanna Davison and model Roz Purcell, among others, in showcasing Ireland’s foremost designers, from Heidi Higgins to Mark T Burke. Guests enjoyed a selection of delicious canap’s, seafood appetisers, chicken vol au vents, and an array of sweet treats, coupled with vintage wine, while fashion stylist Marietta Doran played host for the night. After the show, guests took part in an auction before enjoying entertainment from musician Liam O’Connor and Irish dancer Kelly McDonnell. After a thoroughly enjoyable night, each guest left with a goodie bag bursting with an issue of IMAGE Interiors & Living and Kilkenny gifts.
