22nd Jul 2015
For those who dread the end of the summer for it spells the end of festival season, you need shed a tear no more. There’s a brand new festival in town and the line-up is MEGA. Metropolis festival will take place across the weekend of the 7th and 8th of November inside the cosy confines of the RDS, so we’ve absolutely no reason to stress about the rain, cold or wellington boots.
Boasting headliners such as Chic, The Roots, Mark Ronson, Todd Terje, Giorgio Moroder, Jamie XX and so many more across six varying rooms, there’s literally not a b-list act in sight here.
Sold as an event that mixes music, performance, conversation and installations by This Greedy Pig, we’re expecting so much more than your average festival field full to the brim with dodgy fake tan jobs and jaded floral headbands. Just the pre-Christmas pick-me-up we’ll be needing, this event is spearheaded by the team at Pod and Hidden Agenda and for those who are beside themselves with excitement, hold tight; tickets go on sale this Friday on ticketmaster at 9am.
Check out the full line-up below. Early bird tickets are priced at €99.50.
