Wake The Media Here

Right now, we’re witnessing a transformative moment regarding women’s negative experiences in the workplace, particularly in the areas of film, television and theatre. Taking place on Wednesday, November 29th at The Project Arts Center in Templebar, Waking The Media is an open forum for women who work in the media industry to talk about their experiences, and to begin to discuss ideas and strategies for improving the working lives and representation of women in our industry. This event is open to those who work in any facet of the media and all are welcome! Places are free, but limited. To register, please email your rsvp to wakingthemedia@gmail.com. Click here to read more about the #WakingTheMedia movement.

Help Turn On The Lights Here

If you’re a Dublin 7 or Dublin 8 resident, then why not stop by Smithfield Square tomorrow from 3pm to 9pm to officially turn on the Smithfield Christmas tree with the help of Dublin City Council. As well as the lighting ceremony, there will be an outdoor Christmas market, live music, Christmas movies, hot food, artisan coffee, and a great atmosphere! For more info, click here.
