Looking for something unique to do last minute today? Designer Aoife Hanrahan from Irish Clothing and homeware brand?Stencilize?will facilitate a day-long workshop exploring geometric shapes and spaces from a selection of paintings in the exhibition ‘Vermeer and the Masters of Genre Painting: Inspiration and Rivalry’. Participants will learn techniques used in garment vinyl printing, create vectors, plot designs on a vinyl cutter, use vinyl weeding and transfer to create their very own tote bag. Tickets cost €45 and includes all materials needed. More info here.

Ireland’s biggest air show returns this weekend at Bray.?Awe-inspiring aerobatic acts from across Europe will take to the skies during this summer’s Bray Air Display, which is supported by the Irish Aviation Authority.?Visitors will be treated to gravity-defying manoeuvres, fly-over’s and aerobatic performances, and while you wait for the activities to start in the skies over Bray, there’s some great events/activities on the ground from 12 noon.
