Join historian Rua Ruth as she takes guest on a historic fashion-lead hunt through some of the oldest streets in Dublin.?Ruth will be trailing a group of curious cats around the Liberties, a traditionally working class area of South Dublin, just west of Christ Church Cathedral. The Liberties has always been a bastion for the skilled trades, and its participation in textile manufacturing was no different. There were tanneries on New Row South, silk and linen weavers on Weaver’s Street, and can you guess what used to happen at Tailor’s Hall??If you have a passion for fashion, or indeed, for history, you will find this tour riveting. You’re invited to join Rick O’Shea at Dublin’s Trinity College for a once-in-a-lifetime chat with NASA astronaut?Dan Tani and Andrea Boyd from the Space Station Control Centre of the European Space Agency.
