The Liberties has always been a bastion for the skilled trades, and its participation in textile manufacturing was no different. There were tanneries on New Row South, silk and linen weavers on Weaver’s Street, and can you guess what used to happen at Tailor’s Hall??If you have a passion for fashion, or indeed, for history, you will find this tour riveting.
