The Bray air display returns this weekend for a two-day aviation spectacular event featuring 27 jets, and 47 aircraft. Alongside the main event, there will also be a food and craft market, live music, and a family fun fair. Bring earplugs for the little ones – it could get a little noisy! Dublin Maker is a free, community lead project that takes place during the Festival of Curiosity in Dublin. Members of the public are invited to Merrion Square Gardens today, July 23rd, for a unique ‘show and tell’ experience where anyone from any creative industry is welcomed to display works of art, demonstrate a skill, or paint a picture in a carnival-like atmosphere. The idea behind the event is that it will inspire other thinkers to become doers and makers. Expect curiosity, creativity, and a bit of science thrown in too. An exhibition?by the 2016 graduates of the renowned Ceramics Skills & Design Course?- run by the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) – is taking place at the National Craft Gallery, Kilkenny. The exhibition?has been aptly titled as?Cr?;‘meaning ?earthen? or ‘made of clay?.
