An amazing light installation will be installed in Smithfield tonight as part of an exhibition of two great photographers?Esther Teichmann and Rik Moran.?Fla?neur By Dublin is part of a larger project called Fl?neur – New Urban Narratives. This is a new, European Union funded, 2-year long project. The installation will be in Smithfield Square from July 2nd to July 24th.

Iverna, an Irish online gallery that promotes the best in emerging and established contemporary Irish artists, will launch a new series of artist talks tomorrow, Sunday, July 3rd at The Dean hotel. Titled ‘The Sunday Edition‘, the series aims to educate and excite people with what’s happening on the Irish contemporary?art scene. launching this week in Dublin’s Generator Hostel, PintAid is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to accelerate fundraising for lesser known charities by encouraging the public to donate the price of a pint to various city charities. Indie store Indigo and Cloth have joined forces with independent organisation The Repeal Project?to create special ‘repeal the 8th’ campaign sweatshirts. According to the workers behind the campaign, The Repeal Project seeks to vindicate the rights of Irish women by reflecting , respecting and representing the need and want for free safe and legal access to abortion in Ireland.
