Originally from Greystones, Co Wicklow, Vicky Taylor studied Spanish and English at UCD before doing a Masters in Broadcast Journalism at London City University. She cut her teeth working on the Olympics before finding herself on the team that controls that infamous red chair. Her research job is all about digging up interesting stories from and about guests and involves everything from role playing in rehearsals (Cameron Diaz , anyone?) to ?prepping guests (Saoirse Ronan a standout) and the audience at Thursday tapings. Her favourite moment so far? Tarantino’s adaptation of Macbeth starring James McEvoy and Alan Davies, plenty of samurai swords and lots of gratuitous cursing.
