The Ark have brought over the V&A Museum of Childhood’s touring exhibition Teddy Bear Story and our inner four year-olds don’t know what to do with themselves. Ranging from cuddly and furry, to famous and memorable, the exhibition celebrates the furries of our childhood – why they are meaningful to us, the parts they play as family members and why we love them so. Running alongside it is Mark Nixon’s brilliant exhibition taken from his photo-book Much Loved where well-know Irish figures including Gerry Ryan, Miriam O’Callaghan and our own Melanie Morris, gave up their teddy’s to be photographed.
